Etymology

Onyx term derives from the Greek "ὄνυξ" which means nail or claw. This name comes from a Greek legend. The legend explains that while the goddess Venus slept on the banks of the Indus River Cupid cut her nails with one of his arrows. The scraps were forgotten in the meadow, other gods decided to turn them into stone to preserve them as they were, a valuable part of the beautiful Venus.

Etimología

Los términos ónice y ónix proceden del griego “ὄνυξ” que significa uña o garra. Este nombre se debe a una leyenda griega. La leyenda explica que mientras la diosa Venus dormía en las orillas del río Indo Cupido le cortó las uñas con una de sus flechas. Los trocitos quedaron olvidados en el prado dónde otras divinidades decidieron convertirlos en piedra para conservarlos pues eran una valiosa parte de la hermosa Venus.

Como todas las temporadas las flores se vuelven las protagonistas una vez llega el buen tiempo. Pese a ello no todos los años las vemos representadas en la pasarela. Este año vienen de la mano de muchos diseñadores.

I present today a cowgirl look. Black and brown, fringes and boots. Kate Moss wore the outfit this week.

Hoy os presento un look tipo cowgirl (vaquera). Negro y marrón, flecos y botas altas. Lo lució Kate Moss esta misma semana.

It's a comfortable, casual and modern outfit. Kate shows us that with a small detail can make a boring and common outfit something new and flashy. Also you probably already have in your closet most of the garments of this look.
